Katie received a bachelor's degree and master’s degree in communication disorders from Brigham Young University in 2015. Katie’s work as a speech language pathologist encompasses a variety of populations and disorders in settings that include skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, and outpatient clinics. She currently works with individuals at the Utah State Developmental Center. Katie loves helping her clients find their voice and improve their communication with others through AAC, sign language, or improved articulation. She is licensed by the state of Utah and has received a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
Katie grew up in St. George, Utah, but currently resides in Salt Lake County. She is married and has three children. They love being outside and adventuring together—which includes hiking, swimming, traveling, and trying new foods.
