Amy holds a master’s degree in speech-language pathology, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Brigham Young University in 2001. She also completed her undergraduate work at Brigham Young University, earning a bachelor’s degree in elementary education with an early childhood education endorsement. She has been an ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist since 2002. For 20 years Amy has worked with adolescents and adults in a variety of settings, including acute care, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, long term care, and home health. She is trained as a Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS) and has extensive experience in the evaluation and treatment of neurogenic disorders, specializing in stroke recovery, post-concussion syndrome, and traumatic brain injury rehabilitation. Her passion is helping people recover their language and cognitive skills and become more confident communicators.

Amy lives in Highland with her husband, three sons, and her dog Lucy. She enjoys reading, traveling, and eating sushi.
